Lyn Nekorimate lives and works in Paris and in Pau (France). Trained in the dance academy she made studies of arts at the School of Fine Arts of Cherbourg and Cergy-Pontoise. She also led a university programme to Paris VIII in theory of the art and the new media with Jean-Louis Boissier and Jean-Claude Moineau.

The work of Lyn Nekorimate joins in the field of the performance, the plastic arts and the music. It articulates around the politics / fiction of the close friend as system of survival.
She raises in her works the stakes in the authority and sets up systems of playful emancipations. The body holds a big place in her work, the body as the empirical ground, and as unstable territory.
She questions " the small madnesses " of the everyday life (frenzies, fears, traumas...) and throws in them through the other devices during performances, musical pieces, in videos or installations.

Since 2006, she realizes on average an album a year. It is a rhythmic of survival. Close to the trip - hop, she feeds on concrete music, on prepared instruments, on sounds of the everyday life. Certain pieces give rise to installations, musical videos.

Lyn Nekorimate proceeds by empiricism hétérotopiques and often work with the other artists of the contemporary scene, in particular for performances, but also for educational and philosophic projects (Alberto Sorbelli, Jean-Paul Labro, Marta Jonville, Trini Prada, Peter Gnass, Marianne Plo and Violaine Sallenave, Nicolas Boone, Fabrice Cotinat, Pascal Leroux, NG) with thinkers, philosophers (Guillaume du Boisbaudry, Bernard Stiegler) and architects ( Antti Lovag). She(it) participated in artists' residences in France and followed learnings(apprenticeships) abroad as the yoga in India, the dance Legong in Bali, the Kung fu Shaolin in New York. Based in Aquitaine, Lyn Nekorimate also works on the Industrial City(Estate) situated in Vincennes where she(it) in 2009 with friends artists " the Tree nursery ", an associative community space of life, work, reflection, where she(it) organizes every year of the exhibitions(exposures) and artists' residences.

Elle soulève dans ses travaux les enjeux de l'autorité et met en place des systèmes d'émancipations ludiques. Le corps tient une grande place dans son travail, le corps comme terrain empirique, et comme territoire mouvant.
Elle interroge « les petites folies » du quotidien (délires, angoisses, traumatismes…) et les remet en jeu au travers d'autres dispositifs lors de performances, de morceaux musicaux, de vidéos ou d'installations.
Depuis 2006, Lyn Nekorimate réalise en moyenne un album par an. C'est une rythmique de survie. Proche du trip-hop, elle se nourrit de musique concrète, d'instruments préparés, de sons du quotidien. Certains morceaux donnent lieu à des installations, des vidéos musicales.

Basée en Aquitaine, Lyn Nekorimate travaille aussi à la Cité Industrielle située à Vincennes où elle fonde en 2009 avec des amis artistes "la Pépinière", un espace communautaire associatif de vie, de travail, de réflexion, où elle organise chaque année des expositions et des résidences d'artistes.
